First Day of School – “Kickin’ it Old School”
We are excited to welcome you and your child on the first day of school! Parents will be able to walk their child into the building just like the good old days. Here’s what you need to know: Please enter through the front doors. All parents/guardians will be required to sign in and sign out. You may walk your child to their classroom and, if you’d like, take a special picture of them at their desk. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of other children by not taking photos of students other than your own. All parents must exit the building no later than 8:00 a.m. so our school day can begin smoothly.
We look forward to sharing this special moment with you and your child!

5th Grade – ETA Update
We are currently on our way back and will be passing through Beckley. Everyone is doing well, and we’re hoping to avoid any motion sickness for the remainder of the trip. We will continue to keep you updated, but at this time our estimated arrival at the school is 4:00 PM.
Parents, please plan to line up in the circle parking lot near Camden for pickup.
Hello SES families! Our 5th graders are leading an Animal Shelter Donation Drive to help local shelters in West Virginia. We are collecting items like dry dog and cat food, non-clumping cat litter, toys, collars, leashes, cleaning wipes, trash bags, and paper towels.
Donations are due by Friday, March 27, 2026. Thank you for helping support animals in need!
